The LucentDSP module used in the TuxScreen is apparently capable of quite a bit more than the Inferno software used it for. In the interest of getting audio from the ShanIP audio board into various places, MicahDowty tried various values for the audio route command (0xA6) parameter.

In the table below, an empty description means the function is unknown. Please update this table if you discover anything undocumented about the LucentDSP. Useful discoveries should also be added to wheaties.

Better yet, email Jordan Crouse (jordanc@censoft.com), and have him stick it into the DSP specification (http://cosmic.censoft.com/dspspec.html)

[Don Hayden, July 20, 2002] I thought that we might need to track versions of the DSP message set, so I took the above file and added it to the CVS under tuxphone/dspspec.html. I then updated it to reflect the macro variables defined in wheaties.h and added quite a few new commands and responses. The file is still an html file, but is somewhat bloated because I used MS Word to create it.

JosefH would like some more information on the horrible earsplitting feedback option, which one is most official, and cand we get it added to wheaties? it sound like it must be a good feature to hae as they've put in so many instances of it......
